Le Maitre are exclusively supplying the special effects for the Take That tour.
Le Maitre has 2 full time technicians on the show, which began with rehearsals at Elstree Studios and started the first shows in Newcastle.
The effects on the show include smoke from the new Terrafog and a Mini Mist, and flames from the Dragons.
The Terrafog is a high powered fog cannon and is used to literally push Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason downstage during the track 'Once You've Tasted Love'. The Terrafog (designed by Backstage Technologies) is powered by a G300 smoke machine and uses liquid carbon dioxide and nitrogen to create a spectacular blasts of ice cold fog that fills the entire stage in seconds.
The Dragons are used for the finale of the show during the track 'Relight My Fire', with the tails firing 42ft across the entire width of the stage to create a wall of fire, and the heads pulsing at either side of the stage.
