Oy Pyroman Finland Ltd has been selected as the pyrotechnics expert for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 that will be held in Belgrade, Serbia. Oy Pyroman Finland would like to thank the RTS organisation for the vote of confidence and are looking forward to providing the best Eurovision contest yet. Dates for the show are 20th May, 22nd May and 24th May and this will be two Semi-finals and the Final show.
Throughout the rehearsals and actual show, Oy Pyroman Ltd will shoot more than 5000 effects. They will be using our Mines, Comets, Silver Gerbs, Silver Jets, Airbursts, Robotics, a large quantity of confetti, Windmachines, Heavyfog and Propane Flames. All pyro effects are manufactured by Le Maitre, including the FireCtrl System to shoot the pyros. They will be using 3 Controllers and 55 Field Modules to do this show. The entire show will be shot via SMTPE code, including propane flames, nothing will be fired manually. A crew of 6 Pyrotechnicians will ensure the best Eurovision Song Contest to date!
Oy Pyroman will look after the pyro and special effects for 15 delegates and all opening and closing ceremonies. In total they will be assisting around 120 different acts.
